Beef & Pea Casserole

1 pound of ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
one 10 3/4 ounce can of condensed tomato soup
1/3 cup of water
2 cups of cooked noodles
one 8 ounce can of peas, drained*
one 4 ounce can of sliced mushrooms, drained*



Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet; drain off excess fat. Combine with remaining ingredients. Put into a 2 quart casserole.
Bake, covered at 350ºF. for 30 minutes or until heated through. To serve, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with pimento strips.

The liquid from the peas or mushrooms maybe substituted for the 1/3 cup water. 6 servings
