| | Cracked Wheat Pilaf
3 tablespoons of butter 1 1/4 cups of cracked wheat 3 cups of stock, heated Salt and pepper to taste
Melt butter in a large saucepan, add wheat, and cook over low heat, tossing lightly with a fork until lightly browned. Add stock, cover, and simmer about 30 minutes until wheat is done. Season with salt and pepper. 4 servings |
