Sherry Cheese Pate
Two 3 ounce packages of cream cheese 1 cup of sharp Cheddar cheese, grated 4 teaspoons of sherry 1/2 teaspoon of curry 1/4 teaspoon of salt One 8 ounce jar of mango chutney Green onion with tops |

Soften cream cheese before beating well with sherry, curry and salt. Spread on platter about 1/2 inch thick. Chill until firm. At serving time top with chutney and sliced green onions. Serve with crackers. Sherry Cheese Pate
2-3 ounce packages of cream cheese one 4 ounce package of shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 4 tablespoons of dry sherry 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder 1/4 teaspoon of salt 2 green onions and tops (finely chopped) 1 jar finely chopped chutney
Mix above ingredients together, except for chutney. Spread about one inch thick on serving plate. Chill. Spread finely chopped jar of chutney on top of chilled cheese mixture. Serve with triscuits or wheat crackers. |
