Turkey Pate
1 package of cooked oven-roasted Louis Rich turkey breast (about 1 1/2 lb.) 2 cups of chopped walnuts 1/2 cup of softened salted butter 1/2 cup of mayonnaise 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt 1 teaspoon of liquid smoke Extra chopped nuts (optional) French bread |

Chop nuts in food processor; pour in large bowl. Chop turkey in food processor; add to nuts in bowl. Add butter, mayonnaise, salt, liquid smoke to turkey and nuts. Mix by hand until well combined. Form into 1 or 2 large balls. Press extra chopped nuts on outside of balls. Serve with sliced French bread. Turkey Pate
4 cups of chopped cooked turkey 2 cups of slivered almonds, toasted 1/2 cup of butter or margarine 1/2 cup of Sauce Works sweet n' sour sauce 1/4 cup of chopped green onion 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
Place ingredients in food processor container. Process until smooth. Spoon into 5 cup mold; chill. Serve with assorted crackers; makes 4 1/2 cups. Smoked Turkey Pate
1 cup of diced cooked turkey 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts 1-2 tablespoon of mayonnaise 2 tablespoons of softened oleo 3/4 teaspoon of liquid smoke 2 tablespoons of Cognac or brandy Crackers of your choice or raw apple and vegetable slices
In blender or food processor with steel blade, combine and process turkey and walnuts until finely chopped. Add oleo, butter, liquid smoke and liqueur; process until a smooth paste is formed. Add mayonnaise until of desired consistency. Spoon into small bowl or crock; cover and refrigerate several hours. Serve with crackers and/or apple and vegetable slices. |
