| Frozen Mock French Pastry
1 pound of vanilla wafers, crushed 1/2 cup of butter 1 cup of powdered sugar 2 eggs 1 pint of whipping cream, whipped
Make custard in double boiler using butter, eggs, and sugar. Put 1/4 of wafers in bottom of rectangular dish. Layer whipped cream, custard, whipped cream and then rest of wafers. Refrigerate or freeze. Serves 16. Easy to half. |
