| Apple Walnut Pastry
1 egg 2/3 cup of sugar 2 tablespoons of (heaping) flour 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts 1 medium apple, chopped or grated |

Beat egg; add sugar, beating until well mixed. Add flour and baking powder; mixing well. Stir in vanilla; fold in walnuts and apple. Place in a 7 x 9 inch shallow pan. Bake in 350ºF. oven for 30 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream if desired. Yield: 6 servings. May be frozen. Back to Pastry Home Page |
