| Pastry Fruit Bars
3 1/2 cups of sifted flour 2 eggs 1/2 pound of butter, softened 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda 1 cup of sugar 2 cans of pie filling |

Blend all of the above dry ingredients into the softened butter in a large bowl. Divide into 2 balls. Pat 1 ball into greased jelly roll pan (to cover). Spread pie fillings over this dough and crumble second dough ball over top. Bake at 350ºF. for 40 minutes. Back to Pastry Home Page |
