Pizza Dough 4

2 tablespoons of shortening
1 tablespoon of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of boiling water
1/2 package of  yeast
1/4 cup of lukewarm water
2 cups of sifted all-purpose flour
Salad oil (approximately 1 tsp.)

Boil water, add shortening, sugar and salt in mixing bowl. Add boiling water, cool to 120ºF.  Sprinkle yeast over water and stir, then pour into shortening sugar mixture; add 1 cup flour and knead to make dough. Turn dough onto floured board. Knead 5 to 8 minutes (wash bowl, grease lightly and return dough to bowl). Allow to sit in warm place 15-30 minutes. Punch down - turn out on floured pastry sheet and stretch to fit a greased pizza pan. 





Easy Pizza Dough

1 package of dry yeast
1 cup of warm water

Mix together. 1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
2 1/2 cups of flour

Stir into yeast mixture. Let dough rest five minutes, then spread into pizza pan. 

Pizza Dough

1 ounce of dry active yeast (or 1 oz. cake yeast)
1 up of warm water
1 tablespoon of sugar
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

Yeast mixture: Combine yeast, warm water and sugar. Mix lightly. Float olive oil on top of yeast mixture. Yeast should stand for 10 to 15 minutes and be bubbly on top before use.
