Whole Wheat Pizza Dough

2 cups of whole wheat flour
1/2 cup of wheat germ
1 envelope dry yeast
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of oil
1 tablespoon of honey
1 cup of very warm water

In bowl, mix well flour, wheat germ, yeast and salt. Stir in oil, honey, and water until well mixed; dough will be soft and sticky. Do NOT knead. Let rest 10 minutes.

Whole Wheat Pizza Dough

3/4 cup of warm water
1 1/2 teaspoon of dry yeast
1 teaspoon of safflower oil
1 teaspoon of honey
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of whole wheat flour
1 cup of unbleached flour

Sift together the two flours. Mix dry yeast, distilled water and honey. Let stand 5 minutes. Add salt and 1 cup flour. Mix well. Add safflower oil. Knead in remaining flour for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover, let rest 15 minutes. Place on well-greased glass Pyrex pizza baking dish. Add sauce and cheese. Bake at 400ºF.  for 18-20 minutes.

Wheat Pizza Dough

1 teaspoon of sugar
1 1/2 cup of white flour
1 1/2 cup of wheat flour
1 tablespoon of dry yeast (1 package)
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 cup of warm water

In large bowl, dissolve sugar in water. Sprinkle yeast over and let stand 10 minutes or until foamy. Combine flours and salt in separate bowl. Stir oil into yeast mix, stir in half of flour mix. Add more flour until dough can be gathered into sticky ball. Knead dough 5 minutes. Cut in half. Cover with waxed paper and let rise 10 minutes. Roll each half into a 12" circle. Transfer to lightly oiled pans. Stretch dough into large circles. Let rise 15 minutes before adding toppings. Let raise 30 minutes for thicker crusts. 

Whole Wheat Pizza Dough

1 package of active dry yeast
1 cup of lukewarm water
1 cup of whole wheat flour
2 - 2 1/4 cups of bread flour
1 teaspoon of salt

Dissolve yeast in water. Combine whole wheat flour, 1 1/2 cups bread flour and the salt. Stir in yeast mixture. Knead dough about 10 minutes, working in 1/2 to 3/4 cup more bread flour so that dough is still soft, but no longer sticky. Put dough in an oiled bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled in bulk 45 to 60 minutes. Punch down and let stand 10 minutes before shaping. 

Whole Wheat Pizza Dough

1 package of dry yeast
1 cup of water (very warm)
1 tablespoon of honey
2 1/2 - 3 cups of whole wheat flour

Sprinkle yeast into water; add honey, stir and allow to stand 10 minutes. Add flour and work to form dough. Knead and place in lightly oiled bowl. Cover and let rise about 45 minutes. Punch down and spread on pizza pan.
