| Christmas Quiche 1
1 can of crescent dinner rolls 1 egg, beaten 1 cup of evaporated milk 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce 1 cup of shredded Swiss cheese 3 1/2 ounces of French fried onions 9 slices of crisp bacon, crumbled |

Preheat oven to 325ºF. Yield 9 inch pie. Unroll and separate dough into 8 triangles. Place in 9 inch pie pan (or 9 inch quiche pan), pressing pieces together and form crust. Combine egg, milk, salt and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in cheese. Sprinkle half of onions over unbaked crust. Pour egg mixture into crust. Sprinkle with bacon and remaining onions. Bake at 325ºF. for 25 to 30 minutes. (40 to 45 minutes if using quiche pan.) Cool 5 minutes before serving.
Christmas Quiche 2
9" pie shell 3/4 cup of cubed chicken or 1 can chunk white chicken, drained 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese 1/4 cup of chopped green pepper 6 tablespoons of chopped pimiento 6 eggs, beaten 1 cup of half and half 1 tablespoon of instant minced onion 3/4 teaspoon of seasoned salt 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper
Bake pie shell, let cool. Sprinkle chicken, cheese, green pepper and pimiento in pie shell. Combine remaining ingredients. Beat well. Pour over other ingredients. Bake at 425ºF. for 30 minutes or until set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. |
