Ham Quiche 2

3 Eggs
1 cup of Half and half
1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
a few grains cayenne pepper
1/2 pound of cooked ham, cut into thin
2 cups of Shredded Swiss cheese
one baked 9-inch pastry shell





In a medium-sized bowl beat eggs, cream, nutmeg, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper until well mixed. Stir in ham and cheese. Pour mixture into baked pastry shell. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 5 minutes. Move cooked edges toward center and heat an additional 12 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.  Let stand at room temperature 3 to 4 minutes to finish cooking.
