Spinach & Sausage Quiche

1 package of Stouffer's spinach soufflé, thawed
2 eggs
3 tablespoons of milk
2 teaspoons of chopped onion
1/2 cup of sliced drained mushrooms
3/4 cup of  cooked, crumbled Italian sausage, drain off oil
3/4 cup of grated Swiss cheese

Mix all above together and pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Bake at 400ºF. for 25-30 minutes. Serves 4-6.




Spinach & Sausage Quiche 2

6 eggs
2 packages of frozen, chopped spinach, drained
One 16 ounce package of shredded Mozzarella cheese
2/3 cup of Ricotta cheese
Salt and pepper
1/8 teaspoon of garlic
1 pound of sweet sausage
1 egg yolk, mixed with 1 tbsp. water to brush on top of crust

Brown sausage. Mix all ingredients together. Put 1 pie crust in spring-form pan, covering bottom and sides. Add mixture to crust. Top with second crust. Pinch edges. Cut 1 inch circle in middle of top crust for steam to escape. Brush top crust with egg yolk/water mixture. Bake at 275ºF.  for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Crust is golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes. Cut to serve.

Spinach & Sausage Quiche 3

1 package of Stouffer's spinach soufflé
2 eggs, beaten
Chopped onion
1 cup of shredded Swiss
1/4 cup of milk
1 small can of mushrooms
1 pound of sausage
Deep dish pie crust

Brown sausage and drain. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 400ºF. for 30-35 minutes. 

Spinach & Sausage Quiche 4

1 pound of frozen sausage
One 10 ounce package of frozen spinach, chopped
6 eggs
A dash of Accent
A dash of garlic powder
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
One 16 ounce package of shredded Cheddar cheese
1 stick of margarine, melted

Brown sausage and scramble. Drain the sausage and then melt the margarine in the same pan. Cook spinach as directed and drain well. Mix sausage and spinach with eggs and cheese. Pour into the pie crust. Bake at 350ºF. for 1 hour. Let cool 15 minutes before cutting.

Spinach & Sausage Quiche 5

One 9 inch frozen deep dish pastry shell
8 ounces of bulk pork sausage
1 1/4 cup of chopped green onion
1 garlic clove minced
5 ounces of frozen chopped spinach
1/2 cup of herb seasoned stuffing mix
1 1/2 cup of Monterey Jack cheese
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cup of half and half
2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese
Paprika

Preheat oven to 350ºF.  Cook sausage, onion, and garlic together. Drain excess fat, add frozen spinach, cook until thawed. Drain excess water. In a bowl slightly beat three eggs, combine half and half, cheeses, and stuffing mix. Add cooked sausage. Pour into deep dish pastry shell. Sprinkle paprika. Bake in oven at 350ºF. for 50 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.
