Savory Steak

1 1/2 pound of tenderized round steak, cut in serving pieces
Flour, salt, pepper
3 tablespoons of salad oil
1 large onion, sliced
1 can of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cup of water

Dredge steak in seasoned flour, brown in hot oil on both sides. Add onion, cook until tender. Add soup and water. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes, turning meat occasionally. Serve with creamed potatoes or fluffy rice. Makes 4 servings
