Steak from the Skillet
1 pound of round steak, cut in serving pieces 1 teaspoon of salt 1/3 cup of flour 3 tablespoons of shortening 4 potatoes, sliced 1 large onion, sliced 4 carrots, sliced 1 can of cream of celery soup |

Season steak with salt, dip in flour. Brown steak in shortening. Place vegetables over meat, add soup. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. 4 servings
