Chinese Style Cabbage
1 tablespoon of salad oil 1 1/2 cups of finely shredded cabbage 1/2 cup of thin diagonal slices of celery 1/2 medium green pepper, cut into thin diagonal slices 1/3 cup of chopped onion 1/2 teaspoon of salt a dash of pepper
Heat oil in 8 inch skillet, add vegetables and mix. Cover tightly and cook over medium low heat, stirring occasionally, just until crisp tender, 3 to 5 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. For extra flavor, add 1 1/2 teaspoons of soy sauce just before serving. 2 servings |
