Salad Recipes

 

Fabulous Roquefort Dressing

one 3 ounce package of Roquefort cheese
2 cups of mayonnaise
3 teaspoons of chives or green onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 cup of sour cream
1/2 cup of buttermilk




Blend all ingredients mixing in sour cream and buttermilk last. Chill. If dressing is too thick, thin with additional buttermilk at serving time. We use this recipe as a dip with corn chips and potato chips, as well as salad dressing. Makes 1 quart
