Jefferson's Salad of Mixed Garden Greens
1 head Bibb or Boston lettuce 1 bunch watercress 1 small head of endive 1 small head of iceberg lettuce 1 small head of chicory 2 cups of fresh young spinach, leaves 1 tablespoon of chopped chives or scallions Monticello dressing
Make sure all greens are washed and crisp. The tear leaves into bite size pieces and combine in large salad bowl. Add chopped chives and toss with dressing. |
