Three Bean Salad

1 small can of cut green beans
1 small can of cut yellow wax beans
1 small can of kidney beans
1/4 cup of green pepper, diced
1/4 cup of onion, diced
1/4 teaspoon of salt
6 tablespoons of sugar
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
1/4 cup of vinegar
1/4 cup of salad oil

Drain the liquid from the beans. Place in a bowl and mix with green pepper and onion. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Salad is best if prepared at least a day before serving.

Three Bean Salad 2

one 15 ounce can of  green beans
1 pound of  wax beans
one 15 ounce can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 onion, sliced into thin rings
3/4 cup of  white sugar
2/3 cup of distilled white vinegar
1/3 cup of vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of  celery seed

Mix together green beans, wax beans, kidney beans, onion, sugar, vinegar, vegetable oil, salt, pepper and celery seed. Let set in refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
