Watergate Salad
One 9 ounce container of whipped topping mix (Cool Whip) One 3 1/2 ounce package of Jell-O pistachio pudding 1 cup of miniature marshmallows One 20 ounce can of undrained crushed pineapple 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans 8 maraschino cherries, quartered
Mix Cool Whip and pistachio pudding mix (dry mix) together in a large bowl. Blend until smooth. Add undrained crushed pineapple to Cool Whip mixture along with miniature marshmallows, cherries and chopped walnuts or pecans. Transfer to serving bowl and garnish with halved cherries. Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes before serving.

12 ounces of Cool Whip 1 small box of pistachio pudding 1/2 bag of little marshmallows 1 small bag of pecan pieces 1 small can of crushed pineapple
Take crushed pineapple and pistachio pudding and mix together; add Cool Whip mixing thoroughly; add marshmallow and pecan pieces. Chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes or until ready to eat. Light Watergate Salad 3
One 15 1/4 ounce can of crushed pineapple in its own juice 1 cup of miniature marshmallows One 8 ounce carton of Cool Whip or 2 pkgs. Dream Whip 1 package of sugar free Pistachio instant pudding 1 cup of coconut
Drain pineapple. Add pistachio instant pudding to pineapple and stir. Let set a few minutes until mixture begins to thicken. Add marshmallows and stir. Blend in coconut and Cool Whip (or Dream Whip prepared according to directions on package). Pour mixture into a Pyrex dish and chill for 6 or more hours. Watergate Salad 4
1 small can of crushed pineapple, drained 1 cup of pecans, chopped 1 large tub of Cool Whip 1 large or 2 small boxes of pistachio instant pudding 1 cup of miniature marshmallows (optional)
Mix Cool Whip and pudding together for 2 minutes, fold in pineapples and pecans. Mix in mini marshmallows (optional). Let stand overnight in refrigerator. |
