Corned Beef Barbecue 1

1/2 cup of diced onion
1/2 cup of diced green pepper
1/2 cup of diced celery
1 tablespoon of shortening
1 can of corned beef
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups of tomato juice or 1 can of tomato soup

Brown the onion, green pepper and celery in shortening. Add corned beef, salt and pepper, cover with tomato juice or soup diluted with equal parts water. Simmer until mixture becomes thick enough to serve on toasted buns. 6- 8 servings 

Corned Beef Barbecue 2

3 medium onions, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
2 cups of water
1 cup of catsup
1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of vinegar
1 teaspoon of chili powder
1 can of corned beef

Brown onions and celery in shortening. Add remaining ingredients, cook slowly for 2 hours or until thickened.
