| | Swiss Cheese Soup
3 tablespoons of butter or margarine 1/4 cup of flour 1 teaspoon of instant chicken bouillon granules 1/4 teaspoon of paprika 3 1/2 cups of milk 6 slices of processed Swiss Cheese 1 teaspoon of snipped chives
Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Stir in flour, bouillon granules and paprika. Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly, cook and stir 1 minute more. Stir in cheese and chives. Stir over low heat until cheese melts. Makes 4 servings |
