| | Apple Prune Stuffing
1/2 cup of pitted prunes 1 tablespoon of lemon juice chopped parsley 2 cups of dry bread crumbs 5 sour apples 1/2 teaspoon of poultry seasoning 1/4 cup of sugar 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Soak the prunes in cold water that just covers them for 1 hour. Add lemon juice, cook slowly for 20 minutes. Add sugar and cook for 5 minutes more. Drain off liquid. Peel, core and grate apples. Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Put into cavity of goose. |
