Squash Casserole
5 medium yellow squash or 2 packages of frozen squash
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1/4 cup of green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup of mayonnaise
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 stick of margarine
1 cup of bread crumbs
1/2 cup of grated cheese | |
For fresh squash: Slice and boil just until tender. Drain Squash. In mixing
bowl, add onion, green pepper, mayonnaise, sugar, salt and margarine to
squash. Mix and pour into 3 quart casserole dish. Top with bread crumbs.
Bake at 350ºF. for 30 minutes.
