2 carrots, sliced 1/2 cup of water 2 tablespoons of salad oil juice of 1 lemon 1 small bay leaf 1 teaspoon of salt a dash of garlic salt one 9 ounce package of frozen artichoke hearts
Put all ingredients except artichokes in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for about 5 minutes. Add artichokes and cook until tender, 5 to 10 minutes. Drain and serve. Makes 4 servings
