Barbecued Lima Beans

 

 Barbecued Lima Beans

one 10 ounce package of frozen limas
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1/2 cup of chopped green pepper
3 tablespoons of salad oil
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of prepared mustard
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire
3/4 cup of catsup

Heat oven to 350ºF.  Remove lima beans from package and let stand at room temperature while preparing sauce. Combine the remaining ingredients in small saucepan. Simmer for 5 - 10 minutes. Put beans in casserole, stir in the sauce. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Stir, bake for 10 minutes more.
