2 cups of French style green beans
3/4 cup of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup of diced American or cheddar cheese
1/2 of a small onion, chopped fine
Slivered almonds or pecans
Salt
Pepper
Drain the beans, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid. Add liquid to soup and
cheese and heat until cheese is melted and mixture is smooth. Grease a
small casserole. Fold green beans and nuts into mixture, pour in
casserole. Top with a bit of butter, and bread crumbs. Bake at 350ºF.
until heated through, about 20 minutes. Serves 8
