2 1/2 cups of sliced beets 2/3 cup of sugar 4 teaspoons of cornstarch 1/2 cup of vinegar 1/2 cup of beet liquid 2 tablespoons of margarine
Combine the sugar and cornstarch. Stir into vinegar and beet liquid. Stir over low heat until thickened. Add beets and margarine. Heat slowly. Serves 10 Also see Harvard Beets #2
