| | Broccoli Sesame
1 head of broccoli 1 tablespoon of sesame oil 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds, toasted 1 tablespoon of water 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar 1 teaspoon of lemon juice 1 teaspoon of soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
Wash and cut broccoli. Let drip dry.
Heat oil in a large skillet on medium high heat. Add broccoli and stir to coat broccoli with oil. Cover and cook for 2 or 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
Mix water, vinegar, lemon juice, soy sauce and ginger. Pour over broccoli. Stir, cover, reduce heat to medium and cook 3 more minutes or until desired tenderness.
Place on serving dish. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds, toss. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings. |
