| Creamed Brussels Sprouts: Dress cooked sprouts with well seasoned cream sauce. Brussels Sprouts with Chestnuts - Add 1 cup of sliced cooked chestnuts to cooked sprouts before dressing with melted butter or cream sauce. If sprouts are large, slice each in half lengthwise for quicker cooking. A little grated onion added to seasoning or sauce adds good flavor to sprouts. Cooked, drained and chilled sprouts are delicious additions to vegetable salads.
