Sausage & Cabbage Skillet

1 small head of Cabbage, shredded or 5 cups of packaged shredded cabbage w/carrot
4 medium potatoes, sliced
1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
1 teaspoon of caraway seed
1 pound  fully cooked kielbasa or other smoked sausage links, halved lengthwise & bias sliced into 1 inch pieces
1 cup of apple juice
2 tablespoons of brown or prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon of instant beef bouillon granules




In a 12 inch skillet combine the cabbage, sliced potatoes, onion, and if desired, caraway seed. Top with sausage pieces. In a small mixing bowl, combine the apple juice, mustard, and bouillon granules. Pour over the sausage mixture in skillet. Bring to boiling, reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. Makes 5 servings
