Country Cabbage

1/2 head Cabbage, coarsely chopped
3 tablespoons of  butter
1 tablespoon of  flour
Salt and pepper

Boil cabbage until tender. Drain well. Add butter, heat until melted. Sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.



Country Cabbage 2

1/2 medium head cabbage, chopped
1 pound of smoked sausage, chopped
1 pound of carrots, chopped
1 ounce of olive oil
1 cup of water
2 tablespoons of concentrated lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon each of basil, thyme, oregano, marjoram, sage, tarragon
1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic
Salt and pepper to taste

In large saucepot. combine water, oil, garlic and cabbage. Cook until tender and add remaining herbs and spices, stirring occasionally. Add cooked carrots. Cook sausage in microwave 2 minutes or 5-10 minutes on stove. Add to cabbage. 4 servings.
