Sesame Cabbage Salad
1 Head green cabbage 1/2 cup of sesame seeds 1/4 cup of oil 1/4 cup of vinegar 1/4 cup of soy sauce 1 tablespoon of sugar |

Here are some nice salads we made in the Jewish cooking class that I took here. It was taught by Bilha Widmann. Cut the cabbage into thin strips and place into a large bowl. Roast the sesame seeds in a hot pan with no oil, stirring constantly till golden brown. Mix the oil, vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar together and pour over the cabbage. Mix together with cabbage.
