Sesame Cabbage Salad

1 Head green cabbage
1/2 cup of sesame seeds
1/4 cup of oil
1/4 cup of vinegar
1/4 cup of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of sugar

Here are some nice salads we made in the Jewish cooking class that I took here. It was taught by Bilha Widmann.

Cut the cabbage into thin strips and place into a large bowl. Roast the sesame seeds in a hot pan with no oil, stirring constantly till golden brown. Mix the oil, vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar together and pour over the cabbage. Mix together with cabbage. Sprinkle sesame seeds over salad.
