Braised Cucumbers

1/4 cup of margarine or butter
1 tablespoon of sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 large cucumbers, peeled and cut  into 2 inch pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tomatoes, quartered
1/4 cup of water
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon of dill weed
1/2 cup of sour cream



Melt margarine in large saucepan. Add sugar and salt' cook until lightly browned. Add cucumbers and onion. Cook, stirring constantly until onions are transparent. Add tomatoes, water, lemon juice, and dill weed. Cook 10 - 12 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream. Serve immediately. 4 servings
