3 pounds of white onions, peeled 4 teaspoons of sugar 1 teaspoon of dry mustard 3 tablespoons of butter 1/2 teaspoon of thyme paprika
Cook the onions in water until tender, about 20 - 30 minutes. Drain and place in shallow baking dish. Combine the sugar, mustard, butter and thyme. Spread the mixture on onions. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 325ºF. for 20 minutes. Baste occasionally. Serves 8 |
