| Onions Madeira
1 can of whole boiled white onions 1 1/2 cup of thin white sauce to which is added: 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley 1/2 teaspoon of monosodium glutamate freshly grated nutmeg to taste salt and pepper 2 tablespoons of Madeira or sherry wine bread crumbs, Grated Parmesan cheese, butter |

Combine onions and sauce in casserole. Top with bread crumbs and grated Parmesan cheese. Dot with butter. Bake at 350ºF. for 20 minutes. Serves 3 - 4
