1 pound of fresh pea pods lettuce leaf 1/2 pound of mushrooms, sliced 1 clove garlic, minced 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil 1/3 cup liquor from peas pepper, parsley
Cook the peas with lettuce leaf. Drain, reserving 1/3 cup of liquor. In nonstick skillet sauté mushrooms and garlic in oil. Remove mushrooms and add to peas. Add to skillet the liquor from the peas and mushrooms. Season with pepper, pour over peas, and garnish with chopped parsley if you wish. Serves 4 |
