 Circleville Pumpkin Pie

1 1/2 cup of cooked or canned pumpkin
1/4 cup of white corn syrup
1/2 cup of evaporated milk
1/2 cup of hot milk
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon of cloves
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1/2 cup of brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ginger
1 unbaked pie shell

Combine all ingredients. Stir butter into hot milk. Pour into pastry lined pan. Bake in hot oven, 425ºF. for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to moderate oven, 250ºF. and bake 35 minutes longer or until knife comes out clean.
