Rutabaga Pudding 2

1 cup of  cooked rice or Minute Rice
2 cups of  rutabaga, cooked & mashed
2 eggs
2/3 cup of  milk
1 tablespoon of  butter
1/4 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of  salt
Dash of pepper
Dash of nutmeg

Beat egg whites until softly peaked. Beat egg yolks. Combine all ingredients except egg whites, and mix lightly. Fold in egg whites and turn mixture into buttered casserole. Bake at 350ºF.  for 1 hour or until lightly browned.
