2 packages of frozen chopped spinach 6 small pieces or sour salt 1 1/2 quarts of water 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons of salt or more to taste buttermilk( 2 tablespoons to a cup)
Cook the chopped spinach, water and sour salt, uncovered for ten minutes. allow to cool. Add salt to taste. for each 8 ounce serving, add 2 tablespoons of buttermilk. This is great served with cucumbers.
