4 sweet potatoes 1/2 cup of brown sugar 2 tablespoons of butter 1/2 cup of sherry
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Scrub and boil the potatoes until tender, 20 to 30 minutes. Peel and cut in slices. Put into a buttered baking dish inlayers, with a little brown sugar over each layer. Dot each layer with butter and a little sherry. Bake in for 1/2 hour. Serves 4
