Sweet Potato Pone 2
2 1/2 cups of grated sweet potatoes
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tablespoon of grated orange rind
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
2 tablespoons of melted butter
1 cup of chopped nuts
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
3/4 cup of milk
Mix all ingredients and place in a greased casserole. Dot with
additional butter. Bake at 350ºF. for about 45 minutes or until
golden brown. 6 servings |
