| Merry Christmas Cookies
1 cup of brown sugar
3 well beaten eggs
3/4 pound of raisins
3 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 cup of butter
1/2 cup of milk
6 slices crystallized pineapple, chopped
2 cups of candied cherries
2 cups of dates, cut up
7 cups of pecans, chopped
1 teaspoon of baking soda |

Cream butter, eggs and sugar. Add soda and milk, mix. Add flour, cinnamon and fruit, mix. Add nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in slow oven, about 300ºF. for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes about 100 cookies. |
