| Christmas Ice Cream 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream, softened 1 pound of coconut macaroons, crushed 1/2 pound of red and green candied cherries, chopped 3/4 cup of slivered almonds 1/4 cup of cognac, optional Place the softened ice cream in a large mixing bowl. Add the macaroons, cherries, almonds and cognac, mix well. Place in freezer until firm. serves 16 |
