1 pound (4 c.) chopped pecans 1 pound of candied cherries, chopped 1 pound of pitted dates, chopped Four 4 ounce cans of flaked coconut 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
Put all ingredients in a very large mixing bowl and mix well with hands. Spoon into two loaf pans that have been lined with oiled brown paper (important). Bake at 250ºF. for 1 1/2 hours. Cook on rack before removing from pans. Improves with age. (Loaf pan size 9 x 5 x 2 inches.) The Fruitcake Store & Gifts
