Boiled Pineapple Fruit Cake

450 g of crushed pineapple 125 g of butter 375 g of mixed fruit 1 cup of sugar 1 teaspoon of mixed spices 1 teaspoon of baking soda 1 pinch of salt 1 cup of self rising flour 1 cup of plain flour 2 Beaten eggs |

Place mixture in a 18cm (7") square tin lined with greaseproof paper. Cook for 1 hr. at 160ºC. (320ºF). Test with skewer. Leave in tin for 5 minutes, then turn on to rack to cool.
