Creamed Turkey a la Pasha

1/3 cup of butter
1 small onion, chopped
1/3 cup of flour
3 cups of milk
4 chicken bouillon cubes
1/2 cup of blanched slivered almonds
1/4 cup of seedless raisins
1 whole clove
1 bay leaf
12 slices of leftover turkey
6 slices of bread, toasted, buttered and cut into 4 triangles




Melt butter in saucepan. Add onion and sauté until transparent. Stir in flour, blending well. Add milk and bouillon cubes. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Mix in almonds, raisins, clove, and bay leaf. Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove clove and bay leaf.
Add turkey to sauce and cook over low heat until turkey is hot. Spoon turkey mixture over toast triangles and serve at once. Serves 6.
