1 1/2 cups of rice 8 large slices of cooked turkey 3 tablespoons of butter 1 onion, finely chopped 1 1/2 cups of sour cream Salt and pepper to taste A pinch of nutmeg 2 tablespoons of chopped chives
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Cook rice in boiling, salted water according to package directions. Drain and place in bottom of serving dish. Place turkey slices on top of rice. Cover with buttered parchment paper or foil and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Melt butter in frying pan and sauté onion until translucent. Add sour cream and blend well. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg. To serve, spoon sour cream sauce over turkey and rice, and sprinkle with chopped chives. Serves 4 |
