1 teaspoon of ground mustard 2 tablespoons of warm water 1/2 cup of butter or margarine, softened one 8 ounce package of cream cheese, softened 1 tablespoon of minced onion 3 anchovy fillets, minced 1 tablespoon of capers, minced 1 tablespoon of caraway seed a few twist of freshly ground black pepper
In a cup, combine the mustard and warm water. Let stand for 10 minutes to develop flavor. In a small mixing bowl, beat butter with electric mixer until soft. Add cream cheese, blending well. Add mustard mixture along with remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Serve as a spread with crackers. Makes 2 cups |
